164e: hot-start problem and slow power window 140-160 1975

Thanks, Steve. Yes, I actually did the injector holder seals about six months before I did the injectors, in the hopes I could alleviate some or all of the problem without buying injectors.

As a general question/observation, what I don't understand is, if it's a fuel pump check valve problem, how come my car starts on the button cold, even after sitting for weeks? (Or for that matter, if it sits for an hour or more.) I had a similar problem (fuel drain-back) with my 142 and after sitting I had to crank it for quite a while.

Thanks,

Steve
