Front shock mount question 700

Thank you, David and Ronald, for the replies. I'm thinking the shock mounts are dry because the whole front end is new, with the exception of the shocks, shock mounts, and steering rack. When I come off an incline or turn at slow speeds, I'm hearing a clunking that sounds like it's coming from the top of the left shock.

Now the next question, what is the bestgrease to put in the shock mounts since I'm hooping I'll never have to open them up again?

Thanks again,

someguyfromMaryland
