wet-starting

Do you have oil in the dashpots on top of your carbs?
If not, your air pistons may be rising too quickly before
the engine warms up and air velocity will be too low to
vaporize your gas so it can burn. They used to say use ATF
but I use motor oil, SAE20 or so.
