1986+ Electronic Speedometer and rear Axle Speed sensor.

Mike --

The answer is right under your nose, although you phrased your question in an convoluted fashion.

"Does anyone know how many PPM (Pulses Per minute) is the 86+ 240 Electronic Speedometer unit?"

I can tell you for an absolute fact that it's ZERO ppm when the car is still.

If you sit in the driver's seat and look at the face of the speedo, you'll see a "k" number. For example, my '86 says k9800. That means 9,800 pulses in 1.000 mile. If you drive at precisely 60.000 mph (which equals 1.000 mile per minute), then you'll get 9,800 ppm.

This is 9,800 pulses in 5,280 feet, or approximately 2 pulses per foot (more like 2 pulses per 15 inches, more or less).

I believe the "k" number means "kalibration."
