'87 760 - To Accept or Not, That is the Question

Joe the B230FT which i am assuming it has if it doesnt have that it has a 6 cyl then, but you said belt so its probly the B230FT which for your sake has valve clearence so even when the timing belt breaks there no interior engine damage done, if it overheated before the belt broke you might be looking at a head gasket if after well heck i guess ill ask this questions instead, its pretty rare on and over heat that the timeing belt would break unless a piston has seized that would cause the gearing to freeze or rods to break id deff be looking into that, if its free well heck wouldnt hurt to take it and give it a try but with a blowen head, broken timeing belt, possible bad turbo, headliner, and whatever else may be wrong but just right there your looking at 1-3 grand just doing it yourself plus your time. i personally would pass and find another.
