rear impact crash data?

The techs at my dealer say people who install a 3rd seat for their kids, don't like their kids. They call it a death seat. You saw the damage at 35 mph had that been 45 mph, anyone in that seat would have been seriously hurt or killed.
When a 30 year Volvo tech says he would never let his kid's ride in the third seat you heed his warnings.
