Instrument cluster removal

You absolutely MUST disconnect the speedo cable first.

The cable connects using a large 1/4 turn collar, and this might have a plastic shield (as a "seal") around the collar. Break off and discard the the plastic seal and then twist the locking collar.

Then the cluster should pull out enough so you can disconnect the electrical cables.
