I have heard of toothpaste, Meguires plastic polish, bleach and more. There is a thin optical plastic coating on the lens and abrading it may not help in the long run. Goop, the adhesive, woks great to glue and seal. leave the reflector alone, it will only get duller if you do anything at all. The best solution is to look in a pick and pull for recently replaced lights.
