Headlight R+R 200

The only thing I've found to get the yellow off is oven cleaner. Do not get it on your paint. Either spray it on a rag and apply it, or remove the headlight to the sink or driveway and spray it there. After a minute or so, rinse off. The yellow will come off in a sheet.

Dry everything thoroughly and reattach the lens with clear silicone RTV.
Or not. If it's tight in there and all the trim is present, it'll never fall out. But, umm, we wouldn't drive with a lens that's not attached. Much.

OTOH, the replacement ones from FCP Groton and others are cheaper than you used to be able to get them for. And a lot less than Volvo sells them for.
