busted motor mount - 240

I stumbled across mine being bad. I don't know how long it was shot. Jack rabbit acceleration would not be a good idea right now. The engine will not fall out of the car though.

Get the front tires about Cinder block height to give you some room under the car. I did one side at a time. Taking the oil filter off will give you some extra room on the Passenger side. The drivers side is a bit tighter if I remember correctly. I found it easier to take the 3 bolts off and take the bracket out, bolt the mount on loosely then put it back up. Again if I remember right, you will need a long extention and a universal on the socket for one or two bolts.
