Front Suspension

Rob,

I recently replaced my 745T's ball joints, tie rod ends, radius rod conical bushings and steering rack. I bought everything except the rack (which I salvaged at my Pick and pull for 40 bucks) from fcpgroton.com As I recall the ball joints were only 13 bucks each ... tie rod ends 15 each ... bushings about 30 bucks total. Grand total about $100. So you are not in for a lot of expense for quality parts. Groton sells Boge shocks and strut inserts for very good prices as well. Shox.com is also another good source for shocks and struts. I have yet to replace my strut inserts but that's next. Replacing just these parts made a world of difference in the old Turbo's handling. Well worth the time and effort and certainly a low cost project thanks to Groton. Import Parts Specialists out of Boise Idaho is also another excellent, low cost source of quality Brick parts. Both suppliers are staffed by good, helpful people. Good Luck and have fun Fixin' Yer Brick.
