Synthetic ATF - is it worth it? 960

Synthetic is nearly essential in the AW30 tranny since overheating is a problem (see the FAQ) and will set trouble codes. My experience over seven cars with Mobil 1 ATF is exceptional: less wear, better shifting, zero tranny troubles in cars with, in two instances, over 200k miles.
