wagon woofers

Maybe I'm trying too hard to simplify things but I was thinking along the lines of cutting a hole in the storage area lid and mounting the woofer there. Volume in the storage area is approximately right for an 8 maybe 10in woofer.

Was wondering if anyone has had luck with this set up.
