Well, YEAH I need to do stuff. DER!

I have a CONDITION UNKNOWN (cue scary music) mystery M41 which I'd like to install in a 1967 122s Wagon. I was wondering if there's anything I should do beforehand, while it's still in my trunk, like renew any gaskets or valves or seals or otters or anything like that. I got both drivelines from an M41-equipped 1800s in a wrecking yard (yep). Got the speedo cable & gooseneck, crossmember/mount bracket, squishy rubber support donut deal (sorry for my lack of terminology) and a fistful of turkey. From the night before. It's dry. We'll have crab next year.
