You've got the b230FT right? My '91 740 did exactly the same thing this morning except it wouldn't start at all, just fired a little bit every 3rd or 4th engine go round. My plugs were really wet with gas, dried them out and it helped but still wouldn't quite start. Waited a half hour, tried again. Sputter sputter with no throttle, I floored it and it came to life! Idled and ran fine after that, even restarted with no problem. Might have the same problem tomorrow AM but as of now, mine's alive.
