The tire difference is because the stock tire for the sedans was 175R-14 and for the wagons was 185R-14. Later they changed so that all stock 244 and 245 tires are the same, except for Turbo and GLT's.

Look at the info label on the rear edge of the RF door to see the stock size.
There's an info label on the LF door that shows date of build. Handy when cruising junkyards.
