Wait--don't strip it

Thanks for the replies...

I was thinking $150 is the max that it is worth to me. I have a place that I can park it where the wife won't have to look at it.

The emblem says 240 GL and the engine looks nothing like my 240 DL, so I am pretty sure it is a Diesel, but if I get it I'll post some pics and the VIN.

If I can get it cheap I'll probably swap out the wheels and then check into what's wrong with it / engine swap...

If it cost's too much to swap out and I can't get it running then I'll post it for sale to see if someone wants to take it on as a project...

I'll let you know what happens... It may be after Christmas before I pursue it.
