RADIATOR PROBLEM 700 1991

I had the same thing happen to my 1990 740T some time ago. Usually the blowing of the top hose is just a symptom of your cooling system needing some attention. If the rad is been in for some time then it is probably restricting the flow of coolant and therefore not cooling as well as it should. So you more than likely need a new rad. Repairing would only be very temporary to limp home. I would rather invest in a cooling system rebuild before an engine rebuild if you are lucky.
Hope this helps you to makr the right decision for you.
Good luck.
