I adjusted the shit out of mine a while back, and it has worked its way to just about the right adjustment. Don't worry about it, as long as it works, it works. You'd hear/feel it if it were rubbing, especially when starting off. You may have it a bit tight; I believe Volvo's specs calls for about 5-6 clicks for full engagement. Good luck.
