Checking for vacuum leaks-good methods 200 1986

Don Foster's comments are right on. I have an oxy-acetylene torch set up, and I use the acetylene torch (unlit of course) to check for vacuum leaks. When the acetylene gas is sucked into the leaking area, the engine speeds up and runs very smooth.
