Problem with BRAKE LIGHTS 200 1987

I had a problem with one brake light.
1. Checked the ground. Nothing
2. Changed the sockets?!?!?!?!!?!? to test and left them swaped. Big mistake.

After your post. Swaped them again (to their correct positions) and rechecked the ground and the socket prongs. VOILA!!!

It's working now.

My first VOLVO. Just gaining experience.
