This car has Nimovat shocks(very high gas pressure)and the car will settle down after it sits for awhile. The body should rise up after driving a few miles to the point where the top of the tire should be readily visible. If the body is still down then you may have bad shocks. You can only replace with the same type of shock unless you change the springs as well. Check FAQ for more information concerning these shocks. Generally this shocks last a long time.
