M40 vs M41 1800

M41 is basically a M40 with overdrive attached. Yes, a M40 would work in the es, but you would need a longer driveshaft to make up for a lack of overdrive... and as far as I know, 1800es models had either an overdrive (m41) or an auto, so there might not be a driveshaft that would work. You might have to have one lengthened... though, *maybe* one out of a 140 non overdrive car would work.
