Hello 700 1986

only thing i would add is to turn the car over by hand on the crank shaft before trying to start it (remove spark plugs first) after having added a small amount of oil into each cylinder and allowing to stand...

reason being that in the unliekly event that the engine has siezed due to rust you wont be able to turn it over by hand and will do no damage, whereas the starter will probably turn it and could score the bores...

the oil is just to help things along...

I would also just whip the cover off and check the timing belt...cant hurt and better to know before you start it up...

I would also completely drain the fuel tank and refill and also check out the air box - things have been known to take up residence in there..

you will (of ocurse) strip and test the tyres/brakes before driving...
