No plates came with mine - but at this point I couldn't use them anyway. I welded in some channel iron diagonally along the sheetmetal rib from the rear axle hump forward to the seat beam. Then I drilled a hole through it for the mount. The channel iron I used is wide enough for the bushing to sit inside.
When I was installing the kit I first put the rear bar on and took it for a spin with the stock front bar on. Wahoo! Oversteer! Kind of fun in an immature way. :D Then I put on the front bar too and now it is very neutral.
Of course the added cornering ability made the OE sized tires seem very inadequate, so budget for some wider rims and tires with this upgrade. ;)
