Sounds like a more-than-adequate fix. Good. I have slightly wider than stock tires - 195s - and I kind of like having this be the limiting factor in cornering (well, that and my moderate-at-best skill level are the limiting factors). Car stays nice and flat while the tires sing a lovely 4 part harmony.

If anything does come up with the bars, let me know - lifetime warrantee and all that.
