What is it with Volvo relays?

Sorry, Texas is out of the question. Even if it is a dry heat (you know, like my oven)!

I've only had the car since last July and the problem started when the weather started turning cool in Sept.

It's a great temp. indicator. This morning it was -2F when I started it up and the relay was clicking as fast as my chattering teeth once my butt hit the leather seat (which reminds me, I got to get that seat heater fixed).
