Help!!! Ignoramous needs some info!!!!! 700 1988

Ok, now I have the question of how much work, or money it will take to have the Piston O'rings changed.
And to add to the details, before it gets warm it will shift in and out of fifth. And I have been making sure that the tranny has been overfilled, like I was told, with fluid.
