Thanks for the reply and suggestions. A quick look with a flashlight shows the undertray in one piece, so no joy there. No roofrack or IRS, so no joy there either.

Wheel bearing. That was one of my suspects. I'll get the car up in the air sometime tomorrow and check for any abnormal noises at the wheels. These are the original bearings on all four corners, so I guess they would have to wear out sometime.
