Roofrack 700 1988

Removing the roofrack and its rubber bushings is pretty easy if they are worn out (getting all mine out took like five minutes). New "wellnuts" can then be installed, no need to remove the headliner. If you remove the roofrack, then take one of the bolts and screw it into the metal part of a rubber bushing. Then rock and pull until the metal threaded part comes out. At this point you can pull the rubber part of the bushing out with needlenose pliers. This of course destroys the bushing, but I'm assuming they are already well on their way to being destroyed.
