What should I replace when engine is out?

Hi Chris,
"If the #1 (usually) is making the noise (just move it around from the top end) it's piston slap. If it's the bottom end, the top end should be tight."

Could you elaborate?


I am going to have the compression checked and the coolant analyzed and take it from there. The car strangley runs very well. Who knows. I'll keep everyone posted.
