I've read a lot in manuals to replace Bolts. Boat engines, motorcycles and Cars. I think the idea is that after the original tightening the threads slightly distort. making them slightly looser then a new bolt. I will throw a Lockwasher on the end or a little RTV or Loctite depending on the application. I have never replaced any. I can bet neither does any Mechanics shop.
