It's not the easiest thing in the world to do because the valve springs have to come off. You need some way to hold the valve up (either compressed air or rope in through the spark plug hole) and a valve spring compressor. Once you get the valve spring retainer off the seal just slides on.

B18 heads just have rubber umbrellas that fit over the top of the valve stems, on top of the spring retainers. I have no idea how they control the oil.
