Differences in windsheilds 200

I have an 88 245 that has "imperfections" in the windshield that cause my eyes to hurt. My wife is primary driver of this car and does not notice this. She is a bit shorter than myself and if I scootch down in seat to her level I can see fine.
I have an 83 245 with no problems with windsheild.
Are the windsheilds between 1988 and 1983 the same. I will get a new one but I dont want to buy a new one if it may have same problem.
