fuel/oil additives - what do you use? what do you think works? 700

The only additive that I use is BG 44K fuel system cleaner. I use it twice a year when I make regular long trips. I empty the can in the first tank then add a bottle of fuel injector cleaner like (STP) in the second tank, finish it up with a tank of 94 octane. As far as oil additives go, Volvo discourages any use of any additive. Now the dealer does add a can BG oil conditioner on regular scheduled services. Stay as far away as you can from Engine Restore if you have a Turbo.
