So after a few months of wondering and looking, my hot restart problem is finally fixed.

Problem: Engine needed a good 7-10 cranks to fire up after getting hot and letting stand off for 10-40 minutes, then restarting.

Here is what I did that did not directly solve the problem:
1.. replaced uel pump relay;
2.. replaced ingition fuse & holder;
3.. replaced air filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor;
4.. cleaned all fuses and fuse panel;
5.. tightened all fuse panel connections and wires;
6.. cleaned connectors at ECU and fuel pump relay;
7.. replaced crank position (RPM) sensor;
8.. replaced in-tank assembly, pre-pump, hose, sending unit;
9.. replaced fuel pressure regulator;

At this point I decided to confirm it was momentary fuel starvation by manually engaging the pumps for 2-3 secs prior to cranking. It had no problem starting, hence it was a fuel starvation problem. My ECU does not prime the fuel system when key is turned, not sure why...

Last and finally fixed by:
10.. fuel pump check valve, and I replaced the fuel filter while there...

I prolonged doing it becassue it was a pain to work under there, well worth it though. It starts up right away third crank whether hot or cold now. I guess the 'boiling' fuel from the front pushed the pressure back when the check valve was not holding it.

Question: first time I worked on fuel lines with copper seals. The seals I replaced new (came with filter and valve). I tightened then by hand. They seem to not leak. I did not seal with anything, just dry clean new copper seals. Can I assume I should be good for another 10 years?
