I don't know how long that you have to run the car to get the proper values. There was an earlier article in the News and Observer that described a few people's experience with this (one of whom owned an FWD Volvo) and they had to go to the dealer and get a certification that their OBD system was operational in order to pass the test. Cost them a few hundred bucks, apparently.
