Oops, I'm wrong again! 140-160 1968

Indeed...which is why I mentioned the offset as being a possible problem...

However, the 140 series does have more of a positive (front wheel drive-like) offset then most (American) rear wheel drive cars... Which allows these wider wheels to tuck under the fenderwells better. I have heard they work, but never seen them installed.

But of course, it does screw up the suspension geometry, and... could well cause clearance issues with suspension mounts and turning radius...and brake calipers...etc...etc.... Gotta try 'em on for size before buying them.

THough I am curious how it works (always have been), I really like the 240 turbo wheels for my 140/160 series.

Oh...and just a quick plug for google... the specific first search I typed in for the page I found: "bolt pattern wheel ford thunderbird 1992"

Now that's a search engine if I ever seen one!

New So, will 92 thunderbird wheels fit on a 140? [140-160][1968]
