cleaning all the greasey stuff!

On my 84 turbo, I am starting to blow some blue smoke out the exhaust pipe. Faqs offered some great tips on the turbo, but maybe I should consider cleaning out these things first! Can the oil trap be cleaned out? Or should I buy a new one. How 'bout the flame trap and where's this stupid breather box and what is it? How about the hoses that tie everything together? Thanx guys ;o)
