Help! Door Hinge Problem 700 1988

To stop the click-click sound i usually take a tywrap and shove it in behind of the spring. The piece that sticks out , i cut off.
The nylon of the tywrap is then a silencer.
For your info, all my previous 700-and 900 Volvo's made this noise after a while.
I hope you are able to fix your spring.
