This how I would not like to remove a rear shock! 700

This is the kind of job that defies just about everything except the right tools. A cutting torch is the only way. The bushing and bolt are gone in about one minute. Volvo sells the bolt, spacer bushing and nut quite cheaply. I machine a new bushing and drill the lower control arm out to 1/2 inch from the 12mm standard size and use a 1/2 UNC bolt and nut. The shock sleeve is big enough to accept the .7mm oversize bolt.
