how do I pull the hall effect sensor apart 700 1985

how do I pull the hall effect sensor apart? how do I pull the rotor off? I tryed but it is on there is there a technech to get it off? there is no spark, and I am lost I would like any help on this I can get. the engine is cranking over.how do I test the hall effect sensor?
