how do I pull the hall effect sensor apart 700 1985

I posted to you last Friday about this. If you can't follow the FAQ, do the following:
1. Assuming you've removed dist. cap, ease off rotor arm by prying it carefully - it's tight but will come.
2. Remove distributor - two bolts. Be careful not to pull at hall sensor connector too much (on side of dist). Scribe mark between dist. body and cam cover as reference for re-assembly. Position dist. so you can see into it.
4. You can now inspect the hall sensor wiring. If the plastic connector is cracked, it can be replaced.
5. You need a voltmeter to measure up to 12v d.c.
6. With ignition ON check there is about 11 volts between red and black wires leading to hall sensor. If not either the wiring is faulty or you have a faulty ignition module.
7. With ignition ON, hall sensor connected and voltmeter connected to blue wire and ground, measure the two voltages you should get as vanes pass sensor. The lower voltage should be between 0v and 0.7v and the higher voltage about 5v. If either voltage is wrong (or if there is no change) you probably have a faulty sensor.

NOTE: The wires inside the dist. will probably need cleaning up but they are red, blue and black. If pulled off, refer to FAQ for correct connections
