Mine is also without OD. Guess that makes it a bit easier as you don't have to disconnect the switch and fish the wire down the tube. Bob's post makes sense. I was able to knock it off slowly and near the end just used one hand, but there is a spring in there, so a baggie sounds like a good idea.
