Just removed the power stage and found a layer of white crystaline powder between the power stage and the mount it screws on. Had to sand the powder off(car parked 3 months in coastal town). Found defects on the inside face of the power stage (one burnt area). Sounds like I'm in the right direction on getting this 780 (B280 V-6) going. Am ordering a power stage. Appreciate your help and I'll post how things turn out. PS meant ICU instead of IC system...thanks
