That's a very cool looking rig! You'll get some high-rev benefits from the cradle as well (can't remember the Swedish term) -- supposedly takes out a lot of the harmonics in the rocker shaft.

You're spot on about the idle velocity. More lift, less vacuum, lower velocity, less fuel out of the jet, needs to be richened to compensate.

What's the silicon sealer for?
