However, I don't think you'd want that injector cleaner in the tank when you go to the emission test.... you might try some of that "Emmissions Pass Protection" stuff... I've heard that it works? (I guess it's really just alcohol, which burns hotter and cleaner?)

Here in IL we have a test very similar to that... I believe it's called "IM240"
