I've had varied success with not aligning after a BJ - excuse me, after replacing the BJ's (ahem). However, as Bob W pointed out there IS a lot of slop in the bolt holes, and alignment - especially camber - could change. If you haven't had an alignment done in a couple of years, it's probably time.
