It's a belt, not a chain.
Range is from $10 plus s&h if you DIY, to about I guess $150-$200 if you have it done. I think book's about 2 hours or so. Check the tensioner (about $50) and the front seals (about $20) - if they're OK you can leave them in, but if the tensioner isn't running smooth or the seals are leaking replace them while you're in there. Replacement of either will require timing belt removal anyway. Tensioner takes 30 seconds to swap, depending on how much they've leaked doing the front seals can add another hour, maybe two to the job. Last one of those I did took me over an hour just to clean up the mess.
Ditto for the waterpump (doesn't require TB removal but having it out of the way sure gives you a bit more space to work in, and you'll have the drive belts off anyway), drivebelts, and check the crankshaft pulley for seperation (the inner and outer part should NOT be able to move in relation to each other).
