Check engine light 240 200 1989

My 89 240 had the same problem. Sorry to say but it turned out to be the ECM (computer). Was driving from Florida to South Carolina a 400 mile trip. I had to fill up 4 times. The ECM was literally dumping fuel into the cylinders. Hope its not the same for you but just in case, I bought a backup ECM for my '88 240 for 50 bucks from a junkyard.
